A Flashback In Time

A piece of Rotary history came back to the Morris Rotary Club recently.  Sid Richards, a very active member in the club’s early years, had purchased a Rotary tie clasp and a tie chain, items that were in fashion at that time.  The objects were returned to the club by the estate of Mr. Richards.  They are proudly displayed by Gary Johnson who collects club memorabilia.

Exploring New Worlds

Mitchell John Felker is one of two Morris Central School students who are serving as foreign exchange students during the 2011-2012 academic year.  He's staying in Benalla, a small city (9,000 population) about 2 hours by car northeast of Melbourne.  He reports glowingly of his big-city experiences in Sydney, his tour around rural central Australia, and an upcoming camping trip to the Aussie coast.  All are new adventures that widen the world of a curious teen mind.
