A Holiday Food Treat
For years, the Morris Rotary Club in cooperation with other individuals and groups in the Butternut Valley has distributed holiday meals. On Saturday, December 15, Rotarians and their Boy Scout and Girl Scout helpers assembled and delivered the boxes of goodies. Some 84 boxes of food - enough for a Chriastmas dinner - went to area needy families. Another 94 smaller boxes of fruit recognized the valley's senior citizens.
Happy Holidays to all from The Morris Rotary Club!
The Holiday Spirit
For the past several years, Morris Rotarians have roamed the corridors of the Chase Nursing Home in New Berlin to share Christmas carols with the residents. On Monday, December 10, two dozen Rotarians and family members held their meeting in the NB Community Center before moving on Chase for singing.
Hurricane Sandy Aid
The Morris Rotary Club wasted no time is coming to the aid of the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Treasurer Mike Virgil met with Toni Christensen at the American Red Cross office in Cooperstown to deliver the club's donation.
