Our New Leader
The Morris Rotary Club got a new leader as of July 1. William Burdick (right) will serve as president until June 30, 2011. He accepted the gavel from retiring president Gary Johnson.

His Work Is Recognized
Outgoing Morris Rotary President Gary Johnson was presented a Presidential Citation by Rotary for exceeding his goals for the past year. The award was presented by Assistant Governor Dr. Catrina Truesdell of Oneonta.

The Morris Community Was Saddened To Hear Of The Passing Of Walter Danielsen At Age 91. He Was A Long-Time Club Member And Had Been Active In The Youth Exchange Program.
