Preparing For The Worst

Several Public Alert Radios are now in the homes of Morris Rotarians.  Otsego County's Homeland Security Coordinator Bob Satriano explained the advantages of the radios that automatically broadcast warnings of severe weather events expected to impact the Butternut Valley.  The county is conducting a campaign to place the devices in homes of senior citizens and is offering advice on how they can prepare for severe weather emergencies.
